22 Feb 2012 10:18 • Views: 198 German medics, who examined former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Timoshenko in prison Feb. 14, have officially confirmed that her condition is serious, Korrespondent.net reported Feb. 21.
A representative of the Charité Clinic in Berlin, Stefanie Winde, said that Professor Karl Marx Einhopl officially confirmed that Mrs. Timoshenko is seriously ill. However, the professor cannot give the details of Timoshenko’s diagnosis, as he allegedly promised to keep the results of the medical exam confidential.
“Dr. Einhopl puts his patient as a priority, not political games,” Winde said.
According to Ukrinform, The Ukrainian State Penitentiary Department has claimed that its Medical Department has followed all the recommendations given by the international medical commission, which examined Timoshenko in the Kachanovskaya Prison in Kharkov last week.
