The OSCE is outraged by the methods of the so-called mild, unofficial censorship that the Russian authorities apply to media in the form of silent commands and “friendly pressure.”
In an interview with Interfax, OSCE representative Dunya Miyatovich pointed to the ways in which the government limits access to information for “disloyal” media sources, which are ousted from the market for opposition sentiments and independence.
