Hockey Player Booed for Promoting United Russia

A Chelyabinsk hockey player was booed during his opening speech in support of the United Russia party.

The match between Traktor Chelyabinsk and CSKA was part of the Continental Hockey League Championship.

After the end of the game the forward of the Chelyabinsk team took the microphone.

Vladimir Antipov read from a piece of paper, appealing to fans to vote for the ruling party of Russia in the upcoming elections.
