It is dangerous to be a journalist in Russia. It is twice as dangerous to be a foreign journalist and write about Russian intelligence, corruption and other controversial issues. That’s statistically totally incorrect.
Little has changed since the Soviet Union. Luke Harding was the first foreign journalist deported by Moscow since the end of the Cold War.
